Maeby's Birthday Party

We had an awesome birthday party for Maeby. She had a great time with her Toy Story themed party and loads of friends!

Thanks again to all of our friends & family who came and played with us!

Girl Likes to Color

Maeby will spend ages coloring and lately she's been so diligent and really trying to make her pictures "just so"

Most of the time she ends up coloring all over herself as well and often much of the table, and, thankfully, rarely anywhere else. She takes great pride in her work.

2nd birthday - October 1st

Maeby turned 2 on October 1st!!!

We had a fun filled day!

Maeby and I went swimming together - in that she came with me as usual to help teach the friday waterbabies/waterkids classes:

After a lot of fun swimming, we went home and battled trying our new toddler bed. Maeby cried it out and this is where she ended up napping:

She LOVED opening her gifts. She got lots of fun toys - here are two of her favorites:

A Toy Story Lego Duplo set from Aunt Karen, Uncle Brian, Jordan, Christian, Sarah & Katie

And a kitchen all her own complete with food from Mama & Papa

For dinner we went to one of our favorite haunts - Jamies and got yummy food. We decided to do a birthday milkshake instead of a cake - I don't think Maeby minded in the least.

Rhonda's Wedding

My boss Rhonda was married to her high school sweetheart on October 2nd. We were able to attend and it was spectacular.

This was Maeby's first actual wedding and she was very well behaved. She had a lot of fun playing with friends and eating cake.

These two danced for a while together.

Generally, we could find this lot either hiding under this table or playing in the stream!

It was a beautiful wedding and a really fun time for all of us! Congrats Rhonda!

Utah Trip

So this is late and out of order, but such is life.

We ventured out to Utah in the latter half of September and had adventures catching up with people and seeing old haunts. Maeby had a blast and it was so great to watch her experience a lot of the things we'd go and do when we lived there pre-children:

Jenn and Maeby went with Garndma Jurgen to the Animal Farm at Thanksgiving Point:

We got to see a lot of our friends including Jon, Meghan & Emory:

And we got to play with Uncle David a few times too!

We went to the zoo and saw a lot of animals:

(she posed for this picture and wouldn't budge until it was taken)

We went to the lake next to grandma's house and tried to fish, but mostly had fun with the ducks.

We went to the bird refuge where Maeby threw her pacified into a bog with a bunch of frogs, we couldn't get it out - she still talks about it:

We went to the Tracy Aviary together:

And rode the rides at Liberty Park:

We had a little birthday party for Maeby at Liberty Park as well:

Lastly, but certainly not least, we went to the circus! It was Jenn & Maeby's first time at a circus and we all LOVED IT! Maeby asks about it at least 10 times a day.
