Thanksgiving Trip
For Thanksgiving, Maeby and I headed up to Stanwood to celebrate with our family up there. We had lots of fun doing things I used to do as a kid.

Below are some videos of things we've been up to, enjoy!
Mae, cleaning out her pumpkin!
Swinging at the park with Mama & Papa!
Taking a short stroll around the living room (she can walk a little more than this, just not for the camera)

aren't you a little short for a stormtrooper?
For Halloween, Maeby decided that she wanted to be Princess Leia, above all other options (actually, Jenn chose the costume, but together we decided that it's what Maeby would want had she the power to clearly communicate such knowledge.)
We spent the holiday with Chris and Sara in Salem, going trick r' treating up near Papa's old stomping grounds with Mae's three cousins.

Here she is with Hayliegh, whom the townspeople kept calling a bumblebee, for some reason. It was either really dark that night, people were really drunk, or Salem has the worst entomological savvy in the western hemisphere

With Jayna - a kitty/tiger

the whole gang - Alec would only wear the hat for pictures, spending the rest of the evening carrying it faithfully

With Grandma, who flew out for the festivities!

At her first door!

Mama came decked out as a member of the Dharma Initiative medical staff.

Eventually, we had to put another hat on underneath the wig, as it kept falling off. We probably could have just done her hair into the Leia coif (it's probably long enough), but we didn't have the time or the inclination to pin her down for a half hour of screaming.

now and then and now again
Last month, we took Maeby out to the pumpkin patch, mostly in an attempt to recreate photos from 2008 and see how much she's changed (we'd already bought out pumpkins - at Winco - the day before.) Here are the results.
