Popcorn Popping in Grandma's RV
On our April visit we took a short camping trip to Utah Lake. The girls started a new game with Grandma that I'm sure will be one they will want to play every time they go camping in the RV!

1st Star Wars viewing - in videos
Back in january of this year, the girls watched Episode IV for the first time. I posted about it at the time, but now i can show you some of her reactions. My favorite comments are "chewbaca is Han Solo's Spike!" And "oh no! Buzz Lightyear!" And "where are all the angry birds!?"
Why we love our Papa

1st real Haircut!
See that? That long hair? The hair that goes all the way down to her waist? Yeah, that's her baby hair. She never lost it. She was born with lots of hair and never lost it. It kept growing and growing and growing. Beautiful ringlets of hair. Unfortunately, it'd grown too long for us to manage. We, as a family, came the a decision. It was time. Time for Maeby at over 4 1/2 years old to have her first real haircut. I say "real" because in the past, she's only ever cut bits of her own hair in odd places. But this time, we went for it.
The longest strand is over a foot long. It is now shoulder length and I cut the front angled to blend in the chunk she cut out of her hair while in Utah a couple weeks ago. She loves it and is so happy! It'll be much easier to manage now and by the time its that long again, she'll be old enough to be able to take better care of it. Today is a big day for us.
Georgie & Papa
Georgie was having trouble sleeping until she could snuggle up with Papa in bed. They fell asleep together, happily for most of the night.
Slumber Par
A few nights ago, Maeby decided she and Georgie were going to have a slumber party in Georgie's crib. They played for a while, but eventually both fell asleep. My favorite part is the turtle upside down on Maeby's face.

where our friends Josh & Mindy visited with their dogs
and Maeby went fishing at a trout farm and caught several fish, that we ate for dinner
has S'mores
and visited Great Grandma!
