Houston Museum of Natural Science

This last weekend we went to the Houston Museum of Natural Science.

Its been since last October, and we can't remember what has kept us away so long.

They just opened a new wing with a LOT of new dinosaur bones which were really cool.

Maeby got to hold a real T-Rex tooth.  She just about wet herself with excitement.

They also have a Triceratops skin which was really cool to see.  It is apparently one of the best preserved in the world and proves that the Triceratops was covered with feathers.

I know it won't take us this long to go back!

Lake Jackson Fountain

Its been unbearable HOT lately and we can only swim in the pool for so long so we decided to head to the library and play in the fountain next door.

I think we've found a new favorite place in Lake Jackson!

There are lots more pictures: View them HERE!

Reptiles @ Lake Jackson Library

The library here in Lake Jackson had some local wildlife visit.  We got to see, & pet local snakes, alligators and turtles. Both girls just ate it up.

Yes, I let my almost 1-year-old pet an alligator.
