Georgie Lately

Georgie has really been growing lately.  Everything from her height, her personality, her sense of humor, her need to always have at least one shoe on - has just exploded lately!

Here are some random pictures of her recently.

Her first lollipop

Playing at the park on a Papa date.

Painting herself with yogurt

Discovering markers and crayons and that she can make things happen

Discovering how to make new kinds of noise with different things - this isn't new, but she's branched out a lot

But at the end of the day - she's still my little peanut who loves to snuggle, and is the sweetest little thing ever.

A is for AWESOME!

We have been part of a preschool co-op with a few other families we go to church with. We rotate houses and have set things to cover each week.  Its been so much fun and Maeby has LOVED it!  This past week was my first turn to teach.

We talked about snow and made snow globes

This week was all about the letter C and they found things that started with "c"

We went for a walk to find triangles and things that started with "c"

We also learned how to cross the street.

We made snow pictures as well.

finger painting in plastic bags was lots of fun  too - they are tracing their names and some shapes etc.

We also talked about autumn and made pictures for fall, we decorated the letter "c" and played with making different shapes out of triangle.

It was a very fun, but exhausting week.  For weekly updates on what we're doing in preschool you can view our Preschool Blog Here!

Bat Girl!

Just another day fighting the criminal and unjust.  No big deal - she's pretty awesome.

We Love our Friends!

Just a typical playdate with some of our good friends here in Lake Jackson. In fact, the other day, Maeby told me that they were more like sisters who live in different houses and we see all the time. What a blessing we have to have made some amazing friends here.

This is a new favorite game - called MEGA CUSHION in which they collect every cushion from the house and pile them up and then use it like a bounce out - hours of entertainment.

Watermelon Toes!

In true Fancy Nancy style, Maeby and I decided to pain our toes fancy.  We chose matching Watermelon toes!

BUT, she insisted that each fingernail had to be a different color in order to be truly fancy!

Georgie, following in her big sister's footsteps needed her toes done as well. She got purple because...to be honest, its the fastest drying nail polish and you know what, she was over the moon about them!
