Camping in Sam Houston

We went camping as a family at Cagel Recreation Area on Lake Conroe. We had a great time playing and spending good family time together.

Maeby LOVES her Buzz Lightyear bed and was very excited to see it again.

 

Their favorite activity was throwing rocks in the lake and trying to fish.

We brought our hammock and it was the local for more than one nap!

 

Best of all - cooking over the fire, hot dogs and, of course, our nighly s'mores!

Beautiful weather, pretty local and great company!

Start Smart!

The Lake Jackson Rec Center has a class for 3-5 year olds called "Start Smart" and it teaches kids all of the basics of various sports - skills such as kicking, hitting, throwing, catching etc.

Maeby LOVED it!

This is her on the last day with her teacher.

  

She cannot wait until she can play T-ball, soccer and maybe basketball but she isn't sure its fun enough yet.

Happy Birthday Euan zoo trip!

 Just days after going as a family, we got to go back to the zoo to help celebrate our friend Euan's birthday! 

We played on the playground a lot.

Made the mandatory stop to brush the goats.

Climbed and played on EVERYTHING

Teamwork!

Georgie was very excited to see her favorite person....

Maeby was excited to play with Euan

We rode the train for the first time - which was pretty memorable for both Maeby and Euan

It was a spectacular afternoon with our very good friends! Hope Euan had a good birthday!
