Christmas 2013 - Stanwood

The last half of our adventurous Pacific Northwest Trip was up to my hometown of Stanwood, Washington.  We rode the train from Portland to Seattle which was a new adventure for Georgie and Jeremy and was a blast! The girls liked being able to go up and down the train and eat and watch movies while Jeremy and I liked that they could do all those things and we could just sit back and relax.

Home was a site for sore eyes!  My nephews willingly gave up their bedroom for us and slept outside in the camper which was a huge blessing to us.  We were there for two weeks and had the best of times!

Making cookies!

Getting to see Uncles Pete who we haven't seen in over 2 years, and playing with Jazmine

Spending time with Great Grandma Jan and playing on her "rebounder" and watching her "Who Who Clock"

One of our favorite nights was when we went to Seattle like when we were kids.  We rode the monorail....

Went on the Carousel outside West Lake

And paid a visit to the train at the science center followed by driving through candy cane lane in Seattle and looking at all the cool Christmas lights.

We spent Christmas Eve at some friend's house and played TONS of games.  Uncle Peter gathered all the kids together and put on a spectacular play involving disgruntled elves and machine guns and something about Taco Bell....

Christmas morning was so much fun with our cousins. Opening lots of presents and spending good time together. Unfortunately, we didn't get many pictures since we were too busy playing with all our new toys!

One of the best parts of the morning was Maeby discovering Pop Rocks for the first time.

Mostly, we hung out, played, just relaxed and had fun.

New Years Day we went down to Kayak Point and took pictures and played on the playground.

We wished we could have stayed for much longer - although I'm sure our hosts were ready to have us out of their house!  We are so blessed and Thankful to everyone who helped make our adventurous trip a reality.
