cutest patient in the ER

Our little girl has been one miserable pup today - with a 103 degree fever, alarming lethargy, and lots of moaning and looking sad. So, after a call to her doctor, we rushed her to the ER this evening, where we spent several comfortable hours while Mae got a chest x-ray, her ears checked, her temp. taken a hundred times, etc. . .

Anyways, she's doing much better now, after receiving some heavy meds and getting antibiotics for the two ear infections causing all this misery. In fact, while we came into the ER with a near-catatonic, glassy-eyed Maeby-zombie, we left with a bouncing, waving, chattering pixie.

I took some pictures of her, post-medication, on my phone (first time using the bloody thing) - and I thought you'd all enjoy seeing her in her cute hospital gown.
